ILubnan
is one of the main projects organised by Israa Institution, an institution
registered under Ikram UKE. It is a humanitarian mission to Lebanon with one of
the main objective is to visit our Palestinian brothers and sisters in the
refugee camps near the Palestine-Lebanon borders. Prior to this, there have
been 3 successful trips to Lebanon in October 2011 (iLubnan), April 2012
(iLubnan 2), and April 2013 (iLubnan 3). ILubnan has been in collaboration with
Al Zaytouna Centre who has managed this trip with other organisations there.
They also provide trainings and seminars to the delegation in order to gain a
better understanding about the issue of Palestine-Israel.
ILubnan
will also hand over donations directly to the organisations that were involved
in dealing with the welfare of the Palestinians in Lebanon. Some of the
previous charity projects are Hope for Orphans Project (HOPE), Bookshelf
Project, and also Orphanage Centre Project. Just last year, iLubnan 3 has
managed to collect and handed over £32,000 worth of donations.
